As a certified high school educator, teaching science and math from 1999 to 2008, Danielle loves to design and implement
dog training curriculum. She has been competing in dog sports such as: obedience, agility, conformation, flyball,
field, rally and road trials since 1992. She continues to compete in agility, obedience, conformation and rally with
her two Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers and will always be a student in all areas of dog training. Danielle
currently teaches agility and puppy classes at the Red Barn. Danielle is a licensed CKC agility trial judge and
Dalmatian Road Trial judge, which has allowed her to judge trials from British Columbia to Nova Scotia and throughout
Danielle is the founder/owner, President and event coordinator of the Red Barn Event Centre as well as Performance
Dogs Canada. A breast cancer survivor she also founded Barking4Boobies.com and is the Volunteer Run Director for the
Barrie/Orillia Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure. She has also volunteer large amounts of time
to various dog clubs and the CKC Agility Team Canada.
She is a mother of four children (10, 11, 12 and 13 years old) and marketing coordinator for her partner's business
Mariner's Cove Marina. Her hobbies include training, showing, trialing and breeding purebred dogs, specifically
Dalmatians, Weimaraners and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, running and being a hockey/soccer mom. When Danielle
is not training/trialing, running or cheering on her kids she can be found out on a boat or RV'ing.
